Upon installing Windows 7 bit, I cannot see any wireless networks and thus, cannot connect. Just as an update, I’m still working with this issue. Thanks ihtel accurate documentation by Paul Knight that mentioned every single detail of his experiments. I had thought that the is a better wifi card, but if it’s a nominal difference from theI guess I’ll just continue with my current one. How satisfied are you with this reply?

I have the same question He told me to get the one from lenovo and unload and reload the driver. I suppose you can use an external USB adapter but I would get one with an external antenna connected to it, because I would have to believe the 3 antenna wire setup in your notebook has to provide superior reception over a plain USB wireless adapter with an internal antenna as its only antenna.
